I wonder if Premiere would have Larry Morgan record a new intro for "Summer Nights" in which he acknowledges Olivia's passing. Normally I would say they definitely would but since it looks like very few stations are going to air 8/12/78 they might hold off and do the tribute next week.

The year in Soylent Green is 2022, that's this year for us!!! Yikes. Also the year George Jetson was born. Only 24 episodes! How is that possible? I was six years old and I guess that must be the optimum age for perceiving 24 as a much higher number. September 1962 through March 1963. Such a long time when you're six. A blink of an eye now. And I guess we're all lucky it wasn't only four episodes considering Cuba and all that. Yes, it was ABC's attempt at another Flintstones, but unfortunately they scheduled it opposite Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color and Dennis the Menace.

In 1972 Hanna-Barbera tried another Flintstones wannabe - The Roman Holidays (set in Ancient Rome) for Saturday mornings on NBC, but it lasted only 1 season.

There was also Calvin & the Colonel an animated knockoff of Amos & Andy with animal characters (which also flopped), Jonny Quest and The Alvin Show.

Fondly remember watching "Jonny Quest" as a youngster-By the way,the actor who voiced him,Tim Matheson, went on to play fraternity brother Eric Stratton alias Otter in the hit 1978 movie "Animal House".

One of the best 'adult cartoons' ever, IMO. A washed-up adult Jonny Quest-like character, called 'Action Jonny', was a recurring character in the second season, and had a guest appearance in a season 4 episode. A total of 81 episodes comprising seven seasons of the show were aired between 2004 and 2018 on the late night Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network. Supposedly a concluding episode is in production and will be shown on HBO Max.

I hope the filler songs will be from previous summers, like "If Not for You" (71), "If You Love Me" and "I Honestly Love You" (74), "Please Mister Please" (75), the obscure "Don't Stop Believin'" (late summer '76), "Magic" (80--just 2 years after '78), the obscure "Landslide" (I believe this was a summer 50-ish peaker in '82). I think ONJ had a very minor pop entry in Summer 1992 (her unsuccessful bid to go modern). I hope they stay away from that awful 1998 rerecording of "I Honestly Love You," released almost exactly halfway between the 1974 original and the present.

^Speaking of filler songs on KLFM, it might be a good idea to break away from "Laughter In The Rain", "Misty", "How Sweet It Is" & "Yesterday Once More". At least it seems this is all the filler songs the station has been playing during the broadcasts lately.
