I feel like this has been asked before, and recently too, so I apologize if the answer is already out there and I just can't seem to locate it. Does anyone have a clean copy of the early 80s AT40 end theme anywhere? Hearing it play out in full tonight on WQSR, I think this is my favorite end theme from the show and was just wondering if anyone happened to have a clean copy. I know these are rare to come by. Thanks in advance!

I have an edited copy that I made (Mainly just missing the hi hat/guitar bit that Casey talks over) but I too would love a clean copy of this!

I've only heard it on the show while Casey was talking. I don't think they have ever played the clean copy like they did with Shuckatoom in the mid 70's.

Thanks in advance! As I remember, there were two different edits of this end theme: The first was used from about October 20, 1979 to February 13, 1982. The second (the one with the sax bridge) lasted from February 20, 1982 up to January 7, 1984. I happen to have the "Top Hits of the 70s" special on my iPod shuffle, and according to the display in my library, the full length of the theme is 2:53. I don't know if any clean copies of any version of that particular theme exist anywhere.

The end of hour from this time frame is another I'd like clean. The longest without anyone talking I've heard is from the end of hour one on the 8-13-83 episode with Keri Tombazian. She only talks over the first 2-5 seconds of the music.
