Just wondering whether anybody knows if any of the 70's AT 40 shows which went 4 hours in length are broadcast by any stations in their entirety? Have listened on 2 different stations this past weekend (over the net) and both started the show from #32. Is this the only option the broadcasting stations get or do they have some flexibility? Just wondering. Many thanks,

Currently and you meant #33 not 32, stations do not have the option of airing all 4 hours. The 70s series is given a 3 hour time slot and currently there is no provision whereby the stations can add a 4th hour. FYI, SXM will be playing the following week's AT40 from 1979 and they will play the entire show.
Oh I see you are new to the board. Welcome and SXM stands for SiriusXM internet radio which does have a free 30 day trial in case you want to catch that AT40 without paying for it.

Thanks for your reply. What time and day each week does the relevant Sirius Channel play AT 40? Also which particular channel?

Hey one by one we will get this figured out for you....lol The 80s on 8 channel used to have AT40 but now does a top 40 countdown from the 80s based on the Cashbox chart and done by 4 MTV DJs.
