This coming Sunday (7/17),marks the 50th anniversary of Billboard Magazine's Adult Contemporary chart-It was originally known as the Easy Listening chart-The first #1 song on the AC chart was Brook Benton's "The Boll Weevil Song",which peaked at #2 on the pop chart-I'm hoping that Joel Whitburn will release an updated edition of his AC book at some point.

I wish Record Research would release more DVD's of the actual Billboard charts. If available, I would buy these items immediately:
