i cant find any evidence that it hit R&R, just curious if it hit Billboard an what chart run, if any, did it have? I believe the album hit the album chart.

Sadly, no. Would've been neat to hear how Casey intro'ed it!

Funny you brought this up--I just saw the last hour of Ferris Bueller's Day Off this weekend and the infamous ending with Ed Rooney getting on the school bus to "Oh Yeah".
According the Ultimate Music Database, this song debuted on the Hot 100 at #88 on August 8, 1987, spent 11 weeks on the chart and peaked at #51. So unfortunately Casey never did get to introduce it, but like bme said, would have been fun to hear!

Maybe, if Premiere does an AT40 show from August 1987, they can play "Oh Yeah" as an Optional Extra, since, although it never hit the 40, it has managed to gain popularity through its use in commercials (Twix), movies such as "Ferris Bueller", and, as I recall, many a high-school dance back in that day.

My favorite use of the song was in an NBC promo for "Nightingales".

And, of course, it's been popular because of Duffman.

I remember Casey playing it as an Extra on American Top 20 (Hot AC) sometime in the early 2000s.
