This one might be around again some time, as soon as the 90's revival kicks off in earnest.

The rest is pretty much either of its era - when, in some cases, they don't feel like holdovers from the previous one. For those reasons, those songs will hardly get any notice in the future.

This was not long before the show was changed, with the chart only going down to 20, and the bottom 25 replaced by #1 songs of the past.

Of course, that wasn't anywhere near as extreme as the change they made ten years later...

Hervard, your post got me wondering when Casey's Countdown went from counting down the Top 25 to the Top 20 AC songs and I narrowed it down to somewhere between July 23, 1994 and August 26, 1994. The July 16 1994 show, which I have, counted down the Top 25 but the August 26, 1994 show, which I also have, counted down only the Top 20. I don't have any of the shows between those dates.

If anyone has any of the Casey Countdown shows from Jul 23, 1994 to August 19, 1994 (both inclusive), please check and see whether those shows count down the Top 25 or Top 20.

I believe it was the August 13-14 version of the show when it was cut back to 20. I seem to remember the first show starting off with "Don't Turn Around" by Ace Of Base, and Casey saying that it was a debut song (which it actually was - it was #27 the week before). However, the other Top 20 entry was "Stay (I Missed You), which was at #23 the week before, but he didn't mention its movement, merely saying, "This week, it's survey song #17". Apparently, they didn't want to call any attention to the chart reduction.

Interesting. When AT20 changed to AT10, Casey did refer to songs a couple weeks later as debuts, even though he had played them on AT20.
