And to complete the collection further, I'm working on a book about Casey's Top 40 similar to the format used by Pete (in his books) and Ev (on his website). I wouldn't mind including chart statistics but that may not be possible due to rights issues. One thing limiting me is the absence of 9 or 10 shows that have not been found as of yet. Learned some about books from preparing my dissertation for publication.

I've never listened to the westwood one years much but I'd be interested in reading it, let us know! I'd also like a new Pete Battistini book for the 2nd run of AT40. It could go til the end of the Casey era and since he didn't do a Shadoe era book (which honestly, would be nice if there was one. NOT IT!) He shouldn't have to do a Ryan "I've ruined AT40" Seacrest

In case you haven't been checking Ebay, somebody's selling a copy of "American Top 40: The Countdown of the Century" for $44.95. In my opinion, this is not a bad price, seeing that it's being sold on Amazon for over $100. The link to the Ebay auction for Rob's book is: cgi.ebay.com/American-Top-40-Rob-Durkee-1999-Book-/360377515263?pt=US_Nonfiction_Book&hash=item53e82c7cffJust checked and the Amazon.com seller is asking for over $150.00 for Rob's book. If I were you and wanted this great book, I'd get over to the Ebay auction and "Buy It Now" I already have the book and really REALLY enjoy reading it.

My wife ordered Pete's 80s book for me and gave it to me as an early birthday present. I bought his 70s book about 5 years ago and loved it. This was was amazing as well. With Rob's book and the 1978 Yearbook, I guess I now have all 4 books in the AT40 Holy Grail. Hi, can someone tell me what the 4 books in the AT40 Holy Grail are. Thanks!

Pete Battistini has written 2 books, one for the 70s and one for the 80s that chronicle all the shows done during the Casey Kasem era, listing the particulars for each show, all the radio stations that played AT40s and several stories from Pete and other notable people with a connection to AT40. Rob Durkee wrote a book that explained in detail the history of AT40 from start to finish. The 1978 yearbook put out by AT40 is the 4th book.

Are the two Battistini books the ones that are currently for sale on his website? I am guessing the other two books are long out of print.
