Did anyone catch XM's broadcast of the 12/22/1979 American Top 40 today (12/2)? I did, and I was impressed as always. However, the closing theme on this particular show sounded a little different to me. It seemed like they used a longer version of the "Coast To Coast Fanfare" than usual, more like the 1982 remix than the original Fall 1979 version. Did anyone else notice anything different about the closing music on this 12/22/79 show? Having said that, I must commend XM 70s for not cutting off the AT40 closing themes the way XM 80s does.
