The thread about Idol got me to thinking about this. So I decided to do a poll and see where it stands in our lives.

I admit I didn't start watching until near the end of Season 1 (after Tamayra was voted off). After that, I eventually began to watch regularly except that I don't watch all of the audition shows mostly because I may consider it meaningless while others will say enjoyable (William Hung and Pants on the Ground aside). I don't have much of a dog in this competition and I actually watch "Survivor" first and watch the performance edition of "Idol" later (definitely before the results show). I was surprised that Pia got voted off but I'll still watch because I do find it interesting to see how the season will turn out? How far will guys like Scotty, Stefano or Paul go? Can Haley or Lauren stop the cute guy streak that lasted two or three years (whether you consider David Cook cute. I actually really liked him. Kris Allen and Lee Dewyze were just OK.)?
