My wife has an interesting AT40 memory that maybe someone can confirm...it was back when she was a teenager and taped music off the radio.
What she remembers was "Too Much Time On My Hands"-Styx was playing...and the song ends with whispering of "Too Much Time On My"...then there's a whoosh effect in the song. In this particular situation there is no whoosh, so the song ends with just "too much time on my" to which casey comes in by saying "...on the radio" and backsells the song.
from what she remembers, the song was in the top 10 at the time, which from what I can figure out was in the latter part of may 1981.
does this ring a bell with anybody? she doesn't remember what station she heard this one, but I can take a guess if I had a Canadian affiliate list.
