Have you e-mailed the site creator? I've pointed out a number of errors from time to time on the site and never had a problem with him getting back to me. For 6/29/79, "Minute By Minute" is #17, and "Do it Or Die" is #18; I only know this from the site that I'll explain next. Another site you may want to bookmark is www.popradiotop20.com . Granted, (as the name implies) this site only features the Top 20 of the chart, but it makes for a reliable back-up. The site is not strictly for R&R archives, though...they do have data dating back to the 1940s (!) using Billboard chart data. The author does indicate which chart he is using for what time periods. There's also chart data available for the Country, Alternative, and Hot AC charts.

Thanks CRZ108 for the info. E-mail has been sent for the 1976 chart info.

Just got a reply: "This Masquerade" was supposed to be at #20, not #25 for 7/30/76.
BTW I detected another error: Carl Douglas ("Kung Fu Fighting") and Carol Douglas ("Doctor's Orders") were at #24 for 2/14/1975.

OK, I need more help on R&R chart info (for CRZ108). On the chart dated February 1, 1985, does anybody know the rankings for John Hunter's "Tragedy" and Jack Wagner's "All I Need"? One song was at #32 and one was at #35. Help is appreciated.

Knowing that "Tragedy" didn't get any higher than #33, that would be song #35, and "All I Need" would be #32.

BTW I'm stuck on another chart quandary (I sent this question to chartboy and am awaiting reply).
On the 10/21/1977 R&R chart, the chart site had Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou" and The Brothers Johnson's "Strawberry Letter 23" both listed at #23. I had confirms for songs #21 and #24-30 on this chart so one of these songs had to be #22 (Brothers Johnson maybe?).

is it normal that Rick Dees used to play the radio & records charts of the week before on his 80's shows ?
I have heard the shows of may 1986 and each time , the date of the show and the date of the charts are not matching .
I have checked with the R & R database you are mentionning.
Strange , no ?

Question. What # was Brenda K. Starr's "I Still Believe" on 7/8/88? I'm listening to the 7-23-88 Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, which has the 7/15 chart, but he didn't give the movement for that song.

Does anybody happen to know the full Radio & Records chart run of Smashmouth's "I'm A Believer"? It first charted on AT40 when Casey was still using Mediabase's charts. Help is appreciated.
