Ordered my copy on 12/23. Got this reply: ------------------------------ AuthorHouse titles are printed specifically to fulfill your order. Please note that paperback books are printed and bound in two to three business days and hardcover books are printed and bound within seven to ten days. After your order has been printed, assembled, and boxed, you will receive a second confirmation e-mail that includes your UPS tracking number (if you selected UPS delivery). You can then track your order at www.ups.com. ------------------------------ I'm assuming this is a paperback book (like the 70's copy was), so it should only take 2 or 3 days to build the book. Haven't heard from the publisher yet. Hopefully they will be shipping my copy soon. I would like it before February gets here. |

^^I ordered mine on 12/27, but I live in the same state as the book is printed, so perhaps that's why I got it earlier.

Got my copy yesterday. I emailed the publisher, never got an answer. No email with a tracking number.
Despite no contact from them, the book itself is outstanding. Was surprised to see that it is 124 pages larger than the 70's book.
I like the addition of "number of debut songs this week" feature. Maybe if there is a 2nd edition of the 70's book, this additional information can be added.
Thanks for all of your hard work Pete. I'm glad to have the 80's book to complete my collection of Casey's golden years (1970-1988). Now to spend many enjoyable weeks reading this great book!

I'm listed in the acknowledgements section of Pete's new book-I also offered a few words about the 12/13/80 show which aired a mere five days after John Lennon was murdered.

I'm also listed in the acknowledgements section and even merited "special recognition"(Thanks Pete!). Perhaps the best thing I can say about the book is its attention to detail. First off, the book is even bigger than the 70's version, so those of you who prefer the 80's...well, you're in for a good treat. The ordering process through Authorhouse was extremely easy(I did it via phone)and had my book within 10 days. If you're on this site, this book is a must for you. Two thumbs up to Pete for investing several years of his life on this follow-up!
