22 years ago, I first heard the AT40.
For several years, for me, the AT40 was Shadoe Stevens. His voice, his manner, his pronunciation and style captivated me. Of course, there were the songs and the countdown.
From December 88 until 1991, my books were filled with notes, number by number, position by position. On December ยด91, with the disappointment in format changes and rules, was no longer the same. But I never stopped listening to the show till Jan1995...
Since 2007, my perception changed ...
Listening Casey every week, I understood why this man meant so much to several generations. Its smooth and gentle style, is so charismatic that one can not be carried away by his words ...
Today I can understand why Casey was so big and make it big to AT40.
And I can understand why fans were disappointed when Casey go and Shadoe arrived with his style, totally opposed to Casey...
I love listening to AT40 every week. I take to my job and afternoons are cool.
