Recently, we lost Dick Griffey. He was 71. Griffey was the founder of Solar Records. The biggest acts at Solar were Shalamar & the Whispers. Other acts on Solar included Klymaxx, Midnight Star, Lakeside, & Carrie Lucas, who married Griffey. Dick Griffey will be missed.
