I took a look at Google Books today and I see that the issues from 2005 - 2009 have been expanded. Earlier this year when I checked, only a few issues from 2008 & 2009 were available. Every issue isn't scanned but the number of Billboards added to Google Books has been greatly increased. Here is a list view of the issues: books.google.com/books/serial/ISSN:00062510?rview=1&lr=&sa=N&start=0

I was greatly disappointed to find a huge gap from December 1987 to October 1991. There is a link to one issue dated 1989 but it instead leads to a 1981 issue. For a while now I've been desperately seeking the weekly reports of a certain Los Angeles radio station from that missing period. Big time Bummer!
On the plus side, there's lots of fascinating reading in the 40s and 50s issues and the Vox Jox section from the era when TOP 40 ruled the AM airwaves is great. Claude Hall was one of Billboard's best.
