just finished listening to this show from a quarter-century ago for the first time this past weekend.
Something quite unique happened in the Top10 this week
anybody care to guess what I am referring to ???
***actually, I suppose there are two things you could say but lets just see if you can read my mind!!!

The top 7 songs held the same position as previous week?

"Urgent" by Foreigner (from their album 4) spent its 4th week at #4 (maybe not what you're looking for, but I thought it was pretty cool).

I can't remember what it was, but I did get to listen to this show on WMMX fairly recently. Perhaps it was Eddie Rabbitt's continual "step by step" movement up the chart?

So what was the answer?

Heh. I just listened to that one last weekend (it was the first show I ever owned, thanks to the generosity of a long-time collector).
I think the answer is what Doug said.

In August of 1978 the top 14 stayed the same. In fact not only the same but all of them were the second week in a row at the spot, nothing was in its third or fourth week.
On the Country chart in June of 1980 the top 20 stayed the same.
