I was wondering if there were any old R&R subscribers here. I've been trying to track down an archive of the actual magazines from back in the day but to no avail. My goal is to compile a list of adds and playlists from my local stations from back in the day, and it would be cool if I could find some old subscribers here.

At one point years ago, I bought a HUGE archive of R&R magazines from the 70's and 80's. Maybe some from the 90's. I think they were complete years. I have hundreds. I paid at least a thousand dollars. That's back in my money-to-burn years They were very cool to read through. I have them in storage now as the collection just takes up so many boxes. It would be nice to have a magazine like that archived on DVD-ROM's.

That's nice to know. A few local stations near me used the magazine to determine the adds that week, which was nice since they sometimes played some rarities that never left New and Active. I think an archive would be good too, since it could be good for radio on a historical sense. By the way, did you get those magazines since you work for a radio station or did you buy them on ebay or something?

Would be nice if someday Google Books could have the former radio magazines of:
Cashbox Record World Radio and Records
online, like they do with past issues of Billboard.
