Just discovered that AT40 on 80s on 8 started at 7am Central time today. I was working in my mom's kennel and ran back to my room to tape the show but missed the first 6 songs (recap of lw top 3) and #40-part of #38. If anyone happened to get this portion of the show (Nov 15, 1980), please send me these songs and in exchange, I'll provide a copy of any of the shows in my collection.
Thanks
John

Wow, guess I totally missed it then.
Doesnt XM do any publicity for major changes like that or are we just supposed to "discover" it somehow?
Thats ridiculous on their part.

In fact, heres how screwed up it is.
It started at 7am.
The XM emails and "whats on" page says NOON.
If you go to the 80s page on XM.com, it says 10AM.
Again, ridiculous.

XM (as most radio stations) doesn't keep the website updated as timely as it should.
As far as do they make public announcements, no they usually act like a normal station and expect you to either find it or call/email.

I did get an answer when I complained about this to 80s on 8 earlier today. First is the email I sent and it's followed by the response.
My Post:
Why did you change the time of AT40 for this week?. On the programming section of the xmradio website, the show is scheduled for noon Sunday (eastern time) and on your section of the website at 10am (eastern). But I turned on XM this morning and found AT40 on at 8am eastern. Please find a good time and keep it there.
If those who hate AT40 complained again, ignore them-they are probably just a very VERY loud but tiny minority. They have at least 160 hours per week without AT40, can't they accept us for 6 or 7 hours?
Thank You
John
80s on 8's response:
"John, Casey wasn't moved on purpose. Apparently we had a scheduling error and next week Casey will return to it's regular time. I appologize for the inconvience. Program Director XM 80s on 8 202-380-1480 rick.stacy@xmradio.com"
