Don't count out Halifax yet. In a brilliant move by a competing broadcaster, the old HAL FM 89.9 FM, calls are CHNS (which I used to work with many years ago) flipped in less then a week to a format comparable to CKUL, called "the wave" A lot of former listeners are making the switch and asking for AT 40. I'm told on good authority that it WILL be back...not sure when though. The station runs a 32kbps stream, so quality isn't too great. Website is: 899thewave.fm/

For the last two weeks, I've noticed KQQL is airing AT40 one hour earlier at 6:00 AM Central time. They have also updated the schedule on their website: www.kool108.com/onair/saturday

Just picked up the 70s edition on 88.5 FM in southwestern Ontario. The show started 4pm EDT. I traced it to www.jewelradio.com. They appear to have several frequencies.

Do you have any other information concerning this station(s)? The only "Jewel" station that I could find any information on AT 40 was Jewel 92 - CKPC - but they listed the show starting at 9 am on Sunday mornings (which doesn't match the time you listed) p.s. welcome to the board!

Pizzzzza, I'm concerned about a recurring practice with the following AT 40 affiliate: Saturday 6am-9am WASK 98.7 FM Battleground/Lafayette IN Bottom Line: They do not stream AT 40. Oh they broadcast it alright; they just don't put the feed out over the internet. If you put their player on your computer or mobile device you'll notice how their stream magically reactivates around 9:01-9:03 am. Today it fired back up at the aforementioned time playing "What A Fool Believes" by the Doobie Brothers. What an apropos song selection because we've all been "fooled" thinking they actually make Casey Kasem available over the World Wide Web. When a station uses these underhanded tactics the only prudent thing to do is drop their listing from inclusion on this guide. It's an insult to you, us and all the legitimate affiliates to promote an outlet that shuts down its stream during AT 40 just to save a few bucks. Tune in next Saturday and discover first-hand what I've been experiencing for far too long to go unchecked. Also, a couple of this stations links no longer function properly. They really are a "hot mess."

So, it sounds like they play AT 40, just not online - right?
