I had something from 8:45 to 10:19 but it might have actually been on pause and been behind...I'd swear the guy said it was 10someting or other - and wasn't it supposed to be past noon by then?

American Top 40 The 70s is no longer on WJJR - Rutland, Vermont. oh darn. I really liked them - they were ...quaint and I'm more into the 70s "we have roots, not branches"

Friday 10 pm - 1 am (Saturday Noon - 3 pm LOCAL TIME) KLFM - Radio 96.5 106.3 KLFM - More Music More Often - Bendigo and Castlemaine - Victoria AUSTRALIA Plays AT 40 - 70s - 4 Hour Edition Tuned in at 10pm EDT; no signal. As soon as hour 2 began, it connected? I got Donna Summer around 10:18. Not second hour... was she #39 or #40?

WORC only played the 4-hour version the first time it was offered. Believe the 4-hour notation needs to be removed because it is misleading.

I couldn't get KLFM to work on my computer. The player appeared, but the timer was stuck at 0:00 and there was no sound. I guess I'll have to go with tomorrow's broadcast on WODC.

klKLCH's homepage says
Check out Casey Kasem's original American Top 40 Countdowns every weekend on Classic Hits 94.7! We travel back to the 80s every Saturday morning at 6 and head to the 70s Sunday mornings at 6. This week we travel back to 1979 and 1986! your current listing is Saturday nights 7pm (I think) IF sports isn't happening.
It's possible someone has already posted this. I'm juggling too many windows to go to the last page, so I used quick reply. For anyone still looking for September 19 1970 - you can see this isn't the place to look :-( (don't try CKOC either)

Ok - I'll put 'might" before "play 4 hour edition" FYI, WJER did not play AT 40 - 70s - 4 Hour Edition for September 15th, 1979, they started playing hour 2 with #32 at 5 PM local time, 2 PM Pacific after their Ohio State football coverage, also 3/4 Premiere Optional Extras were on instead of only 1, so that station should be updated as well!

So is CKRU the only 70s station that played 1970 today or did I miss one?

This station doesn't seem to have a working web stream anymore. The first link just says the stream doesn't work & the second is page not found. I couldn't find a listen live on their website either Sunday 6 am - 9 am WYNZ - Big Hits Y100.9 - The Biggest Hits Of All Time - Portland ME 100.9 FM den-a.plr.liquidcompass.net/playe....d=WYNZFM&uid=70Thanks to upland1425 for the following information: Please add the following alternative link (for winamp / iTunes) to the stream of WYNZ-FM. (The same will apply to other stations using the LiquidCompass LC Pro Flash Player) WYNZ-FM (Sundays at 6 am) edgev1.den.echo.liquidcompass.net/WYNZFMAACPlays Optional Extras (NOTE: This station will occassionally broadcast AT 40 - 80s - instead of AT 40 - 70s - check website weekly)

WELK aired the 4-hour 1979 show this Sunday morning starting at 7:00 AM. They played all the optional extras.
Didn't see this one on your updated list.

WJDX played 1979 but don't know they played the first hour. It ended around 10:05 AM EDT which means the starting time was 7:00 AM EDT for a 3 hours show NOT 10:00 AM for starting time.

I would say "not on a consistent basis" when it comes to playing extras on WODC; they didn't play a single extra on this week's show.

Pizzzzza, KLIO listed 1970 as the week it was playing, but if you follow the link on page 1 here, or on the station's website, you will end up on WPLJ. You can select another format or metro area, but if you choose Wichita Falls, KLIO is not among those listed. You might want to test that one more time before removing the link from page 1. maybe you will have better luck or know some secret I couldn't figure out between myself and google. Maybe it was just at the time I checked... thanks

Another "not on a consistent basis" stations with respect to extras is WHNN. In the "1970/1979 Is there a better way" thread trekkielo noted they dropped the last two.
They have been reported elsewhere to have overbooked ad breaks, so this could be a side effect thereof.
