Now I can't wait for another early 70s show. Yeah, those early '70s shows are the best! For my tastes, the farther we got into the decade, the worse the music became. Thankfully, by mid-1982, we had New Wave to revitalize Top 40 radio - or "CHR," as they called it by then.

Thanks.
Knowing now this station is that selective, only playing shows from 1974 - 1979, I wonder if this station could be one of the possible ones that would play the 4 hour shows from late 1978-1979 ....

Just noticed on Quad Cities Online a press release from Clear Channel in the Davenport IA area... AT40/The 70s is moving earlier, to 11AM-2PM (Central) on Edit: KMXG Mix 96. Casey will be followed by John Records Landecker's "Into The 70s," then a three-hour smooth jazz block.

At 8 pm Sunday I tuned in to KABG "Big" 98.5 in New Mexico to catch the retro 1970s AT40, and they were already at #34! What the hey! Since when did they start a half hour earlier?

I was driving south on I-35 on Saturday morning leaving the Twin Cities. I caught about the last 20 minutes of the show on (I believe) 102.7 KYTC out of Mason City, IA. I'm guessing the show must have started at 7:00 AM Central. I didn't see it in this list, and there does not appear to be a live stream available either.
Can anyone living in Northern Iowa or Southern Minnesota confirm this information?
Thanks.

KRIB that was running the show on Sunday night has changed format and the company that owns both stations has moved the 70's show to KYTC.

FYI: While we do not currently stream, you can catch AT40: The 70's on Saturday mornings at 9am and AT40: The 80's on Sunday mornings at 8AM on KOKZ-FM. We're 100,000 watts at 1500 feet so if your in a 70 mile radius around Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Iowa, you can catch Casey's shows each week.

Only problem is...it's not working right now. KYTC became Super Hits on February 4, only 39 days ago, so they are relatively new.

As expected with the time change, our Aussie friends started 11am EDT (Sydney) and 2pm EDT (Perth) today. So, do I need to go and adjust all of the Oz stations again, or is the time difference still the same?

KABG-FM started the 1974 countdown right on time this evening (8PM EDT), so the time change last week undoubtedly caused that glitch. Doncha just love computers? Also, does anyone know when the option for stations to carry the four-hour version of the 1970s countdown kicks in?
