WZWZ Kokomo Z92.5 moved AT40 the 80's an hour later to 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. Nina Blackwood's Absolutely 80's now precedes the show. Thanks for that updated information - I'll adjust the starting time for the program. |

Today - I tracked almost every one of the Saturday 80s stations that start from 6am to midnight Eastern. My main goal is to confirm correct start time and if they are playing the AT40 80s show. I will try and monitor most of Sundays stations as well. 7pm (time change was reported by mmb) my notes for - WZWZ - the show must have started at 8pm - absolutely 80s was on after 7pm and the AT40 show ended at about 11:50. Looks like they changed their schedule. www.z925fm.com/Schedule/15566586#simpleContained29pm KQSR - show started about 5 minutes early. KCLH - note about the 70s show - 70s show ran until 5 minutes after 9pm. The 80s show ended around a minute or two past 1am. KSRS played just the first 2 opt songs this morning. They played some iheart song at the end of 3rd hour and at the segment before the radio show last segment along their hourly names/artists of current top 10 iheart songs. So I would say they play some opt songs but not all of them. Thanks very much for that information! |

Station notes from Sunday. Listened to most all of stations with start time from 1am WFMX to 8pm WQSRnot checked - WQLB/WKJZ, WSRS, WPAC. 8am - Noon CKDK - no show at 8am to 8:15am ? Did CKDK air the show Sunday? 8am - 11am WXLY - show started a few minutes early 7:55-7:58 9am - 1pm KOKZ - may repeat a 1980-86 show instead when 1987-88 is offered 9am - 1pm KGOR - played 1978 Noon- 4pm WJJR - started show about 7 minutes early (not unusual) 2pm - 6pm KACL - also started show about 7 minutes early 4pm - 8pm KOOI - was playing the AT40 70s went to commercial dropped top two songs then started the 80s show. 4pm - 8pm KQMA - 80s show started about 30 seconds after 4pm (good timing for back to back show) 6pm - 10pm WWZW - was already up to #36 at 6pm KONO on the 70s list 9am - Noon has been playing the 80s shows lately. This is the second time I heard the 80s show on there. wow - that's a LOT of AT 40 in one day! So we can safely say that there are several stations that either start early, or run over (a few minutes). |

Well, of course I can't listen to the entire broadcast on each station. I was mainly trying to verify the start time and if the show was indeed AT40 the 80s. Anything that seems unusual within a few minutes of listening and I will take note or I will move on to the next. Some times the station will have to be checked again on the next broadcast date. I don't plan to do this very often because it is time consuming. I agree about being time consuming - that's how I started my own list several years ago on my computer. I saw no mention of this in the last six pages, but I'm currently listening to this week's show on WINC 92.5 FM. The station is based out of Winchester, VA and there is no mention of the show on their website. The show appeared to have started at 6:00 AM EST. I found this via Tunein. Thanks for the info...listening now  |

WINC (in Winchester, VA, but hearable through much of the DC metro area) aired the 80s AT40 starting in the summer of 2009 (replacing AT20) on Saturday nights; then in March 2011 they shifted it to 6 AM, and a couple of months later dropped it totally. Time to re-add it to the list?

WCRZ Flint MI is, as I type, playing last week's show (8/8/87). Don't know if this is a glitch/error repeat or if for some reason the show is now playing a week behind, but would be one to watch.

And just found that WCRZ was a glitch -- switched to this week's show starting with #24. Oh well time to try another station for the full show.  |
