Does anybody know if this show is broadcast in Japan? Reason is that I heard part 2 of the year-end countdown yesterday on what seemed like a Japanese radio station. The application used had only content in Japanese, so I guess it was from Japan. If they do broadcast the show, they would be a week behind.

It is the same today, AT40 The 80s has started at 1am , 1 hour earlier than the last known schedule.
Today, the Sunday repetition of AT40 The 80´s has started at 1 am , rather than at 2 am .
The airing of AT40 The 80´s on Saturday is as scheduled, at 6 am.

I believe it's Radio Japan AM 1422khz I found out about this station few weeks ago. Here's the link to the home page (translated). tiny.cc/hk46qAnd here's the AT40 80s program page (translated): tiny.cc/9t463It's a 3 hour show on Saturday from 6pm-9pm plus an hour of Japanese commentary from 10pm-11pm Japan time. (7am-11am EST?) But, I have no idea how to listen to it online.

Well...if anyone can figure out this site, and translate the time to US EST, as well as the link to listen online, I'll be more than happy to add it to the 80s stations list.

World Radio and TV Handbook , WRTH 2011, says it is JORF Yokohama Japan in AM 1422 Khz , with 50 Kw. radiotime.com/station/s_7910/JORF_1422.aspxIt has no know streaming, according to Radio Time. But I have to investigate a little bit more.

I think the stations in Japan are fairly protective of their content, so they typically do not broadcast online. Not sure if I should mention the program, but it is used to stream tv and radio from Japan. I will search for other streaming sources, but am not confident I will find any. The Saturday night 6pm (locally) show would be Saturday morning 4am -7am Eastern.

International stations dont air the commercials so it could very well last 3 hours, as it did on XM when they ran 80s shows

Yes, you are right. For example : A current 4 hour show , by Rick Dees, lasts 3 hours and 12 minutes when listening to it online on rick.com On radio it lasts 4 hours.

WNIC, Stale 100.3 FM now airs AT40 HAC with Ryan Sunday Morning. Now, in Detroit we have two stations with AT40 CHR and AT40 HAC airing at the same time. Whose data research said we wanted even more Ryan in Detroit? Not me!
At least I still have AT40 the 80s from WRVF and numerous online stations.

I will attempt to record the show from Japan next week to see if there is anything missing.
