Ryan will be joining Casey on SXM, as AT40 will now be played on Sundays on KISS-XM (channel 21). There will be three airings, at 6 AM, 10 AM, and 2 PM.
A worthy addition to SXM's service. Now, how about some 80s, 90s, and 2000-09 AT40/CT40s on satellite?

assuming thats eastern time? Thats actually kinda cool. Ugh! Great, the ONE channel NOT on the dish network lineup.
Rick Dees was the best shot for the 90s station but they let that go a year ago. AT40's out of the question w/ the CT40/AT40 combo.
Is there a 2000's channel? Even thats ify w/ both Casey AND Ryan shows. Unless you do Caseys AT-20 which lasted almost the whole decade.

Pop2K (SXM 30) is effectively the satellite service's 2000's channel, concentrating on hits from 2000-09 much as channels 4-9 do on their respective decades. So if AT40 or another CHR countdown (Rick Dees?) from that decade were to be played it would likely be there. AT20's Hot AC format would fit well on the Blend or the Pulse.
As for KISS-XM, its AT40 air times are Eastern; since it plays commercials, unlike most satellite channels, it will likely take up all or most of the four hour block. If you've never heard it, KISS is much like DC's WIHT (Hot 99.5), and not just in terms of music; WIHT's DJ's Kane and Toby Knapp are heard there as well.

Which version will they play? The regular or the Hot AC one?

The CHR version was aired, same as that heard over terrestrial radio this weekend (it was guest hosted by George Lopez.) They left in all the countdown extras (unlike the Casey rebroadcasts), including the ones that are optional for airing by terrestrial stations.

Unless I missed something, I turned on Kiss yesterday 12:30ish (Eastern time) and I did not hear AT40 airing.

Maybe they were in a commercial break, or playing one of the random songs not necessarily part of the countdown that they slip in to fill time? However, two weeks ago (Sept. 5), AT40 was not aired on Kiss-XM at all, with no known explanation.

Ok, today I listened to Kiss XM on my way to the Bucs game. I listened from about 11:55am to around 12:30pm and heard no AT40. On the other hand I heard it last week ending and then starting again at 10. Is there any rhyme or reason to the show airings?

And then it never aired on that AT40 channel on that Iheartradio thing. Very upsetting this weekend!
