Not having listened to AT40 since Casey left, I'm wondering if someone can identify the last instrumental that was on AT40. Even in the mid to late 90s there were few (if any) instrumentals, so I'll be surprised if there have been that many in the last 10 years. Thanks.

The last instrumental to make AT40 was when Casey was still at the mic - "Sandstorm" by Darude, in 2001. It peaked somewhere in the 30's.

It's too bad about the lack of instrumentals in today's pop music (or Hot AC, AC, etc!). Instrumentals need to make a comeback!
Anyway, had not AT40 change their charting rules (to something very stupid!), I believe the cover of "Axel F" by Crazy Frog may have hit the 40 in 2005!
