I was wondering about America's Top Hits/Casey's Biggest Hits. When did these debut and when exactly were they aired? Did stations air them during lunch breaks or was it up to the station if they wanted to air them or not? I don't remember hearing them on my station but I don't usually listen during the cafe hours anyway, so can someone clarify this?

In the mid '90s, I used to hear Casey's Biggest Hits during the weekday afternoon drive (~5 PM).

I believe Casey's Biggest Hits began at the same time when CT40 started. America's Top Hits naturally began when Casey took back AT40. Sometimes, programmers would insert Casey's Biggest Hits when CT40 was being broadcast. VOA Europe did this back in the mid 90s.
