On Monday I was disappointed to see that these 2 pages were scheduled for deletion:
List of stations that air Casey Kasem's American Top 40: The 70's
List of stations that air Casey Kasem's American Top 40: The 80's
As of today (Wednesday 4/28), they are gone.
These are some of the reasons given for the deletion:
Nominating at the request of User:147.70.242.54 (I concur with his request). List article appears to be original research that also violates WP:Wikipedia is not a directory. Only sources proffered are direct links to American radio station; talk page offers suggestions on how to convert local time into UTC (which is not offered on any of the station web pages. Lede doesn't even bother to mention the name of the program.
Delete both pages. Stations constantly change which affiliated countdown show they play, so the list would be extremely hard to update. I can't even think of a way to verify it.
Delete as this entirely novel list topic contravene the prohibition on original research. As far as I can see, this list, or anything like it, has not be been published anywhere except within Wikipedia, so there is no evidence that it is verifiable, let alone notable. To demonstrate that this topic was not created out of thin air, a verifiable definition is needed to comply with content policy.

I disagree with all of their reasons. I felt the information added value to the American Top 40 web page.
Maybe this information can be recreated on this forum since it can't be kept on Wikipedia.
