Today (April 27) is the birthday of the person without whom this website would have never existed. Yes, Mr. AT40 himself, Casey Kasem is 78 years young today. Happy Birthday Casey, and may you always keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.

Casey-I can't believe it's been almost a year since you did your final countdown-Thank goodness that your shows from the 70's & 80's can be heard once again throughout the country every weekend-Hope you're enjoying your retirement-You've certainly earned it.

A big Happy Birthday for Casey today!
Hope you are enjoying retirement, and hope you know how much we have enjoyed the countless hours of AT40, CT40, etc. over the years. It is truly a great joy to get to experience those shows and memories again today...so a big thanks to go along with the Happy Birthday wishes!

Happy (early) Birthday to Casey! Today I heard Rick Dees wish Casey a happy birthday, then played his version of Casey's dead dog dedication outtakes. I guess either Rick isn't sure of Casey's birth date, or the syndicators ran the bit a day early.
