Now playing: March 7, 1987 March 11, 1995 March 4, 2000 All of these are captioned for Sundays rather than the correct Saturday chart dates (1987 shows March 8, 1995 shows March 5, and 2000 shows March 5). Each weekend has been verified as correct through checking Sure Shots. Speaking of which: mitchm a couple of Sure Shots are listed incorrectly here for March 1995 - the table shows "Thank You" as SS for March 4 and "Cotton Eye Joe" as SS for March 11; those should each be moved down one week.

The highest debut on the 3/14/1992 Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 chart is "Mama I'm Coming Home" by Ozzy Osbourne at #35, also used for Casey's Top 40 but never made Shadoe AT40 when it was in the Top 40 Radio Monitor format, and Rick mistakenly says it's the return of Ozzy after a 4 year absence when he should have said Ozzy had a 3 year absence (In 1989 Ozzy did a duet with Lita Ford called "Close My Eyes Forever").

Nope, still waiting on if and when they will put together shows from the 10s decade. There is a new channel on Sirius XM that’s dedicated to the 2010’s decade, and they do not have a countdown for their channel either which is a shame.

In the early months of Dees 2K, in May there was a week where 5/12/2012 was on the app for whatever reason while 5/17/2003 was on the radio.
6/5/2010 has actually been done twice, in 2017 and 18.
5/8/2010 was also done in 2018. (Albeit: Originally scheduled for that week was the Hot AC version of 5/9/2009, but that airing was plagued with technical problems, and would finally be replaced with the 2010 show on the app after the weekend.)
And then at the end of 2019, 12/10/2011 and then the Top 40 of 2010 would be on the app on consecutive weeks. (This would also be where the app and radio would permanently split - they've only done the same show in the same week twice since then, and not since the July 4 weekend in 2021.)
I do not expect any more to be forthcoming anytime soon - hell, the app has also gone back to avoiding 2009 like the plague (there hasn't been a 2009 show on there since November 2020).
And do not ask me why they did the ones they did, those were all before I started tuning in and keeping track. (The only one that has any kind of rhyme or reason is 5/8/2010 due to them needing a replacement for their original pick, but why they picked that one to swap in, who knows.)

Just like it thinks the first Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 show from September 1983 is lost media.
