Looks like both KQSR and KKMK dropped the 90s show (thank you for reminding me kani). To the best of my knowledge that leaves only one show airing the 90s show and that is KOMC. I haven't listened to either show in months so I haven't been keeping track but it's no surprise that stations are dropping the show. www.kkls.net/weekends/Well actually KKLS FM does have 90s airing Sunday 2PM-6PM local, 4PM-8PM EST. For the 80s, Sat 2PM-6PM local, 4PM-8PM EST That means only two stations airs 90s.

Thanks, Kani. I will definitely give that a listen Sunday evening. 939themix.com appears to be playing a countdown from 12/2008 to 04/2009. I am loving it.

Oh it has to be March 21, 2009 HAC edition. pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/122039/rick-dees-weekly-top-hotI hope next week shouldn't be 2009, but other year 2000s

^I'll second that about this being a good show. Sounded like Lady Gaga in the WT40 challenge. Can't go to rick.com to check out those 5 sexiest videos anymore but will have to check them out on youtube. Seemed like they were all from the 2000s. Not surprising if it was based on what listeners voted for since their memories won't go back to the 80s or 90s I am guessing. The Fray at #1. Can't get much better than that unless it was Pink who had a pair of great songs herself.

In 2009 there also had answer to the challenge aired, its too bad these nowadays that answer to challenge are no longer being used anymore. On positive side, this is a better quality than 2017 current countdown sloppy editing, some cutoffs. Also i think in 2009 rick dees doesn't announce radio stations though, not sure when he stopped announcing radio stations.. maybe late 90s or early 2000s? And reception73.proboards.com is no longer displaying rick dees current shows on both formats started Jan 2017 when rick.com chart link is no longer displayed, and instead he's using American Top 40 current posts.

They might not air the challenge winner anymore because the show has seemingly no affiliates and therefore no one is calling in to win.

Well I've asked friend of mine in facebook that still listens to Weekly Top 40, and even it has been years 2012 or 2013 that no answer challenge used on air. According to him, "There used to be at least one person (think it was a guy from Nigeria) who answered the WT40 challenges on rick.com when they had the Disqus comment service. Maybe the winners are contacted personally or mentioned on his Twitter feed (haven't checked that but nothing to my knowledge has been listed in that regard on FB.)"

Ah Rick, in last week's 80s show from 1986 you said 'Sade was pronounced (sha-day) not (shar-day). But in this week's 1989 show what did you say but (shar-day)! And you also said Loggins and Messina hit #4 in 1977 with "Your Mama Don't Dance". Off by 4 years there! And then he butchered it when he said after "My Heart Can't Tell You No" got as high as #3, that Rod's last hit that was bigger than that was "Young Turks". Except Turks only made it to #4. In fact, it was the middle of 3 straight #4 R&R hits for Rod. Heart is actually Rod's biggest hit of the 80s.

About the Rick Dees 2000s edition, is there going to be a double option of CHR and HAC in the re runs ?
The 90s edition only airs CHR shows , despite that from november 1994 there are CHR and HAC editions.

I don't know any other stations that plays the 2000s, and rick.com did not add 2000s audio in his site for a reason. Last Sunday aired HAC edition of Mar 21, 2009. Before that, there were Mar 15, 2003 CHR. So there might be possible mixed HAC and CHR for 2000s. I'm surprised not a lot of people, except few members talked much about 2000s show (2000-2009). And I'm not talking about current shows.

I used to listen to Rick countdowns (CHR) almost every weekend between 12/2001 and 03/2005, and until last weekend I thought the odds were slim that I would ever get to hear any of those shows again. I have no problems listening to any countdown of Rick's between 2000 and 2009.
