3/19: From Casey's Countdown (CT40 for this week N/A): This Used To Be My Playground-Madonna, Sailing-Christopher Cross, We Are The World-USA For Africa 4/09: From Casey's Countdown (CT40 for this week N/A): Tears In Heaven-Eric Clapton, The Living Years-Mike and the Mechanics, Somewhere Out There-Linda Rondstadt/James Ingram Seeing as the cue sheets for these weeks are now available, I checked these two. The R&Ds are the same in CT40 as they are for Casey's Countdown for both weeks. Although, apparently Linda/James and M&TM were switched on 4/9 between the two shows - CT40 has "Somewhere Out There" second and "The Living Years" third, as opposed to vice-versa on Casey's Countdown ("Tears in Heaven" is still first on both). Either that or that week's sheets were printed and then the two were swapped on one of them. |

King 4/22: Somewhere Out There-Linda Rondstadt/James Ingram, You Got It All-The Jets. 4/29: All This Time-Tiffany 12/09: Candle In The Wind-Elton John 2/25: There's actually a second R&D, Didn't We Almost Have it All - Whitney Houston. 4/22: There's a third R&D, Teach Your Children - Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young. But it's worth noting that "Somewhere Out There" is marked as an Extra while "You Got it All" and "Teach Your Children" are both marked R&Ds. (I'm inclined to think all three could be R&Ds.) 4/29: First R&D is actually Missing You - John Waite. Tiffany's the second R&D. ("I Can't Help Myself" by The Four Tops also appears to be an Extra, though I have no reason to think it's actually a R&D.) 12/9: Second R&D is Hangin' Tough - New Kids on the Block. (I wish I was kidding on that one. ) Also, a note for 4/15 - only "You're My Best Friend" is marked as a R&D on the cue sheet. "Lean on Me" is marked as an extra, as is Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". What's the story for those two? Does someone have 4/28, though, and can confirm that that week actually had FOUR?  (Albeit the third would be a countdown song, at #17.) That week's sheet is missing, so I can't check. 1992: 12/05: Don't Have CT40 for this Week but I do have the Casey's Countdown (which usually has the same Requests/Dedications) and those are: Right Here Waiting-Richard Marx, Always-Atlantic Starr, With or Without You-U2 CT40 actually has these in reverse order - so U2 goes first and Richard Marx is last. Also, 3/21, which is hosted by Mark Elliott, actually does have differing R&Ds between CT40 and Casey's Countdown! Both shows have "No One is to Blame" first, but Casey's Countdown doesn't have "You're Only Human (Second Wind)" at all - instead, they have two different ones: "Somewhere Out There" is second, and "Daniel" by Wilson Phillips is third. I checked 3/7 and 3/14, to be sure, and guess what - those have different R&Ds too. Guess they really did experiment with that approach for these shows when Casey's Countdown started... I'll look through this more thoroughly later on. (This, the beginning of CC's run, is the only time I notice it, so I'm willing to bet it didn't last long.) To start, the second R&D there is Greatest Love of All - Whitney Houston. So, Bette would be third - but she's not listed on the cue sheet. I think that's a typing error, though, because in the final hour, Segment 18 shows a running time of 15:38 - apparently, for just two songs (#6 and #5). I don't buy that being true, so most likely Bette should be between the two. Just to be sure, I checked Casey's Countdown, and that has all three listed - Richard, Whitney, Bette, in that order. 8/7: Should be 8/6. Third R&D is I'll Never Get Over You (Getting Over Me) - Expose. 10/8: Second R&D is You're Not Alone - Chicago; Sting is third. 1995: 5/27: Power of Love-Celine Dion, Right Here Waiting-Richard Marx, One Additional R&D (Don't have last disk of CT40 for this week nor do I have the Casey's Countdown or Casey's Hot 20 for this week 6/03: Hero-Mariah Carey, Save the Best for Last-Vanessa Williams 7/01: Hero-Mariah Carey, Right Here Waiting-Richard Marx 7/15: Suddenly-Billy Ocean, I Will Always Love You-Whitney Houston 9/30: Without You-Mariah Carey, I Will Always Love You-Whitney Houston 5/27: Dionne & Friends strike again!
