On the BIO channel tonight "Casey Kasem's American Top 40 radio show" was mentioned on the biography of Weird Al Yankovic as what he listened to for popular music in the 70's when he was starting out. If your interested it is between 7-8 minutes into the program. The show will be on a few more times this week.
