It should be noted that the CHR top 100 listed here, though, is not the same as what is being counted down by Ryan Seacrest. I guess AT40 made its own chart, as was done several times during the Billboard and Radio/Records years.

I guess AT40 made its own chart, as was done several times during the Billboard and Radio/Records years. Ryan Seacrest's AT40 show does not use the Mediabase Top 40 Charts as it is, even for the regular shows. www.at40.com/rest_chart.html?format=chr&They do not apply the recurrent rule. And they add some points to the original Mediabase chart based on the number of requests sent to their affilate stations. (FYI, Mediabase provides the Request Line website to the affiliate stations.) www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/7/stationplaylistrequest.asp?c_let=whtz-FM Eventually, the big hits tend to hang in the Top 40 for much longer period.

Thanks for letting me know-I have a list of the top AC Hits for 2009 as published in the year end issue of Billboard-I wonder if there will be any similarities as far as chart rankings are concerned.

Please see the Mediabase Top 50 AC Hits for 2009 chart at page 23 of the following Year-End charts book. pdf.mediabase.com/YearEnd09/YearEnd09.pdfThe chart rankings are very similar as far as those AC charts are concerned.
