Well, as it is obvious, the show was already broadcast this weekend. But I have heard it.
What can I say? She sucked! I'm sorry, but she did. First of all, it just exposed how contrived and utterly boring her persona is. Not one bit of spontainety there! And whenever she tried to sound funny, it just sounded lame, basically. One interesting thing, though: the two songs on the countdown which have Kanye West features (Keri Hilson's "Knock You Down" and Jay-Z's "Run This Town") were played, but not announced by Taylor on-air. How was this done? Simple:
* She intro'ed a song, and said song was played. * The Kanye West-featured song was preceded by the number jingle, then played. * As soon as the Kanye song finished, the number jingle would appear again, introing the next chart song. * That next song would be acknowledged, essentially leaving the Kanye song in the cold.
Clever, eh? Or maybe not...

Huh. I don't really like Taylor Swift at all, but I actually found her kind of charming on the show. I expected to cringe a lot.

She did her work as a sub. Her jokes and her presentation was totally lame.
- The intros sounded redundant for example 'my favourite' - Her humour was dry as the Arizona desert - She failed to recap last week's top 3 (sorry but I can't stand broken traditions) - She's no Debbie Gibson (she did a better job 10 fold subbing for Shadoe Stevens and sounded pleasantly awesome)
I just wasn't that impressed with her hosting, but not to the point that I'd switch channels or anything. It would have been cool if her song "Fifteen" would have debuted and then she really may have had fun with that! I think that song is going to debut this coming weekend of December.
