I understand that some feel both network and local commercials within vintage AT40 programs on terrestrial stations are cumbersome. However, they're the reason the shows continue to be aired. And I believe it's worth noting that AT40 fans may want to consider supporting these advertisers when and where possible.
A few network sponsors found in this weekend's 70s and 80s programs include: *Toys R Us *Campbell's Chunky Soups *Kodak Inkjet Printers *Mucinex D Feel free to add any other advertisers. I'm sure the sponsors would appreciate knowing we value their endorsement of classic AT40 programs.
On a related note, I'm not sure if it was intentional or done in error but this weekend's 70s show contains a vintage network commercial for the Osmonds' "One Bad Apple" (MGM Records) which was not noted on the program's cue sheets. Historically, Premiere has added this information to cue sheets for terrestrial station broadcasts.

Does PetSmart still advertise on AT40: The '70s or '80s or are they pulling out temporarily because of the holidays?

I'm hearing a lot of commercials for Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner ("We work hard, so you don't have to!") Also, I often hear ads for the OnStar navigation system. And, incidentally, the old Osmonds ad has turned up twice.

The late ventriloquist Paul Winchell provided one of the voices of the Scrubbing Bubbles in a vintage TV commercial from either the late 70's or early 80's.

Pete has the right idea-I do have Campbell's Chunky Soups every so often & I drink V-8 tomato juice, which also happens to be manufactured by the Campbell Soup Company.

Wal Mart also advertises on both "AT40-The 70's" & "AT40-The 80's".

KQLL used to display both after the weekend's shows have aired but they just switched to Christmas music and are likely dumping both the '70s and '80s shows in a format change.
WHNN mainly displays the '70s weekly (occasionally they will display one from the '80s) but they are airing Christmas music now.

Casey Kasem used to do the commercials for Bose Radio during the Christmas season. Those commercials are not airing this season.
