Last weekend's show was pretty neat! It featured songs that spent only one week in the Billboard top 40. For this show, almost the whole thing was a bunch of AT40 clips of Casey or Shadoe or whoever else during the week a particular song spent its lone week in the Top 40. Some familiar examples include "Video Killed The Radio Star" by The Buggles, "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure, and "Strung Out" by Steve Perry among many others.
Ron Gerber also played "Clones" by Alice Cooper, and said that he would have played Casey introing the song, but as we know, the song spent its sole week in the 40 during the 4th of July weekend of 1980 when a special was aired.

Laura, I was going to mention this, but thanks for bringing it up. My favorite moment was when Casey mispronounced Richie Sambora's last name (I think he said "Samburro" or something) when he was playing "Runaway" by Bon Jovi.
As for the substitute hosts, there was Charlie Van Dyke & Bruce Phillip Miller, who played "Good Timin'" by the Beach Boys (with a hilarious reaction by Ron at the end).
