Hello: Recently, I started to make a playlist of top 40 songs that are rarely heard anywhere. The songs covered range from the Mid-1960’s thru the 1990’s. From the cheesiest pop songs to classic rock. I tried to include a mix of both and everything in between. In order to listen to the complete playlist, you will need open a FREE profile on www.imeem.com Once a profile is created, you can listen to my play list by clicking on this link: www.imeem.com/tag/Missing%20Songs%20In%20Action/playlists/My “Missing Songs in Action” link will appear. Then, click “listen” here and hopefully I will get you to say WOW! You can play this list as it is, select your favorites, skip around, or shuffle the order. You can also view the entire playlist without opening an account. My goal is to make this playlist a min. of 3000 songs and if there is anything you wish to add, just send me a message and I will do my best to add it. I will adding songs every week myself. The Lost 45’s show can certainly be an inspiration for this and I do listen to Barry’s online show weekly. I mainly get tired of channel flipping between the FM and SXM stations and fiqure this would be a neat alternative.

If you able to listen to AT40 the 70’s and/or 80’s, that would generate some ideas. That’s what I do for some of the songs. Thank you for checking it out and your positive comments. |

Well, during the past week, it was annouced that My Space will be obtaining the rights of Imeem. My Missing Songs In Action Playlist is currently M.I.A.  They stated that all of the user playlists will be moved to My Space. This process will take a few weeks. Hopefully, I can update the above information, when this happens.
