Dec. 19-20, 2020: Now lets go back to this week in 1978 - Bill Withers, December 16, 1978 And they aired the full four hours, with all extras--mostly Christmas themed, several predating the 1970s, though it did include two still-popular 70s holiday tracks from Elton John and the Carpenters.

Tonight the Wheel of Casey landed on a not-random special show: the 1971 Christmas countdown. Yes! I finally get to hear "I Yust Go Nuts At Christmas" by Yogi Yorgesson! On this first Christmas show, Casey sounded halfway enthusiastic about the song, even briefly emulating Yogi's Swedish accent. I wonder why his attitude towards the song changed two years later.

Per Dr.Demento,Yogi Yorgesson hailed from Washington State-His real name was Harry Stewart & that was a faux Swedish accent he spoke.

Skuncle do you think it's 100-51 or the whole top 100? I don’t know yet. They have aired entire Top 100’s before so it’s very possible, being a holiday weekend seems likely they will air the full eight hours (slight less without the commercials).

Thanks for response! Interesting countdown with several "ties" such as 97a and 97b, etc. The cue sheets list 100-51, and second week 50-1, but as you stated, we will see.
