I sent an email to Ms. Lorre Crimi, producer of the AT20 and AT10 shows (as well as the '70s and '80s shows), asking to seriously consider a possibility of making special year-end countdown shows in December. I would love to listen to "Top 30 Hot AC Hits of 2008" and "Top 30 Hot AC Hits of the Decade (2000-2009)", both hosted by Mike Kasem

If she says no, I bet Rick Dees could "make" some specials hosted by Casey, Mike, or even Miley.

Hopefully, you'll receive an answer. Sometimes radio managers prefer to avoid answering such requests since saying "yes", in their minds, could lead to further requests and "no" could possibly result in someone getting upset and stirring up sentiment against them or their company. As a result, there is the idea that if nothing is said, then the request will eventually be forgotten. There are also company rules that have to be considered before an answer can be given.
Ms. Crimi has been producing Casey's shows for almost twenty years and almost certainly has dealt with these requests before. If you know someone who has made similar requests, you may check with them to see how she responded to them.

I have written to Ms. Crimi several times before requesting the rebroadcast of certain special shows for the year-end holidays and 4th of July weekends.
I have never received a response from her. But, some of my requests have been accepted, either accordingly or, most probably, just incidentally.
This time again, I do not expect a response from her, but just would like to convey my strong desire for such special programs for her possible consideration.

It probably just means that Casey wanted to keep all his options open. Count me in as someone who hopes that something does happen.
