Actually that is incorrect. The page is segmented in 5 year intervals but you can use the horizontal bar to scroll to the actual issue that you want to read from any week, month and year. I have spent alot of time with this site, since another AT 40 Fun and Games poster discussed it. They have pretty much every issue from every year!!! However, I found an 18 month break from the spring of 1983-the end of 1984. Regardless, it is a great resource with a super search feature. The search feature however, lists the sources in a peculiar way-not chronologically nor by relevance but other then that, it deserves a bookmark and your time.

At this time, Google Books will allow you to save, but not print, any content on their site. In order to save material, simply open up a Google account-or Gmail (it's free). Then you can save the info in your Google Books Library. You will see the tab on the upper right side of the page. The library feature will allow you to write a note to yourself-say that you want to save every Hot 100, then you can leave a note for yourself on what page the chart is located. You can also do a search of Billboard on a favorite station or recording artist, then save that info in the library.

you can also do an <Alt>-<Print Screen> on your keyboard to save what's displayed on the webpage into an image, then paste it in MS Paint for example.

Those scanned pages are difficult to read since the letters are small and blurry when enlarged. For instance, there was a short article about Casey in Feb 1983 that I had trouble reading. Personally, I would not want to view these scans for any extended length of time.

Thanks for your suggestions but nothing works : Google library or Gmail : i can save the issue on my computer to read it but when i'm disconnected from Internet it doesn't work. Same problem if i save one issue on my computer as a file : i need an interne conection to this website where it's linked.
Alt + sprint screen : it does not work , i can't even sprint a page .
Everything is protected ( Unicode UFT - 8 ).
My fear is that if the service is no longer available , i will never have the chance to save charts like The Country singles , AC Top 40 or Soul Top 40 .

Frankly I am amazed that there is this much content available free to begin with. When one considers the myriad of legal, copyright and royalty issues surrounding such a project, I am just grateful that we have what we have. I know that it sounds archaic, but if your main objective is to save that chart material mentioned above, why not simply transcribe it manually into a Word program while you are on-line? If you just commit yourself to a month at a time, it won't seem like such a large task once you get into it.

I agree with you , it's a fantastic gift to have this free , but if i want to write each weekly Country charts / Ac charts / Soul from the 60's , 70's and 80's = around 3.000 lists - it will take some time... If this website long for a moment , oK.

Pages can actually be saved easily because everytime you scroll down 1 page, a new jpg is dumped into your browser's cache. Each page is about 160kb. Maybe that is why it is tough to read as they are scanning only at 120dpi.

I saved two articles on the end of the original AT40 as .jpgs using the <Alt>-<PrintScreen> method.

Here's what you do...
When the article appears on the screen the way you want to save it, press <Alt>-<PrtScr> on the keyboard (holding down Alt, press PrtScr).
Next, open a graphics program, e.g. Paint. In Paint's menu, go to "Edit" then "Paste". The screen capture that you did, including the article, should appear. Edit it as you wish then save.
Good luck!

Thanks all for your kind help , i really appreciate .
I have downloaded a screen saverfreeware and it works.
But , i can hardly read the artist's name or song titles because of the poor quality of original scanning - as previously noted .
Anyway , it works and i will save many charts page.
Thanks again

Looks like I misunderstood the icons for the magazine reader. I thought that "full screen" meant that was the highest resolution possible. In fact, it is the magnify icons that increases and decreases the resolution to one of these:
350X465 495X657 575X764 685X910 800X1062 910X1209 1046X1389 1280X1700
These higher resolutions makes all the Billboard pages readable. To save individual pages, I would suggest using the cache method instead using some print screen method. This way you get the original scan with just the magazine page on each file.
