I was just wondering if anyone is checking into their regular AT20 station and seeing what they've replaced AT20 with.
I normally record AT20 off OzFM and of course I had recording problems, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow night (when they normally had the replay) to see what countdown (if any) OzFM has started to play.
In any case, I would love to find out from other posters what countdowns are taking over Casey's slot.

There wasn't a countdown on Oz, just random current hits.

The two affiliates I usually check into are not replacing Casey with anything. Just regular music with voicetracked DJ's.

As I wrote in another thread, WTIC-FM 96.5 TIC, CBS Radio's Hot AC station and a former AT20 affiliate in Hartford, CT, will broadcast AT40-80s show on Sunday morning at 8:00 am, Eastern Time, starting tomorrow. player.play.it/player/player.html?id=103Ryan A. Jones, TIC's Program Director, wrote to me that he is "a huge fan of Casey and decided to keep him on the air!"

WKMJ in Hancock, Michigan replayed the final AT20 on 7/11/09. The board operator / DJ did mention throughout the show, it was an encore presentation of the final AT20 that origanally aired on 7/4. He also said AT40 with Ryan will begin on 8/1/09 at 6 am, the former AT20 time slot.
WMGN replaced AT10 with AT40 the 70s.
I know another station aired Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 in place of AT20.

KQMA either moved or re-aired AT40 - The 70's in place of AT20.

WMVX and KEYW Sunday night AT20 stations only had regular music. However, on 7/12 KEYW still has on air now "American Top 20 with Casey Kasem."

WINC winchester, VA replaced the show w/ nothing. Just music hours. Two of what used to be AT20's three hours were taken up with a "Hometown Countdown", hosted by the station's regular DJ's. (BTW, while Winchester, VA, is the station's official "hometown", it comes in clearly over parts of four states plus DC.)

I also noted that the 'mid-day' gal Paula Kidwell was the host, probably voice-tracked/pre-recorded. Which begs the question, what happened to the guy who used to run the board on sunday mornings (ran AT20)?? He didn't have a radio voice an IMO was only there just to run AT20, probably loved the show, might of even been doing it for free. You could always hear his voice (kind of a weird qwirky voice) once an hour w/ the weather (more so in winter when there was snow closing announcements to make). Been doin it for years.

104.1 WLBC in Muncie, IN is now airing AT 40 with Ryan Seacrest, this week guest hosted by Kris Allen It looks like WLBC is just airing the last 3 hours of AT40 during AT20's old time slot. Later Sunday evening they air the whole show intact.

WINC winchester, VA replaced the show w/ nothing. Just music hours. WINC this weekend started running AT40-the 80s. Not in AT20's old Sunday morning slot, though, but instead on Saturday nights starting at 8. In addition, they've also apparently adopted the SXM approach of rerunning the previous week's show as well as the current one. This past Saturday, they reran last week's 8/11/84 show at 4 PM and then immediately followed it with 8/16/80. So listeners get eight straight hours of 80s AT40 if they wish.
