AT40 with Kris Allen & Adam Lambert

To American Idol fan; Please be advised that Kris Allen & Adam Lambert will guest host the American Top 40 in the coming weekend (July 11-12).

Another remark; "Love Song" by Sara Bareilles has been staying in Top 40 (Hot AC version) for 93 weeks and was still hanging in at # 33 last week. She will be challenging the longevity record of 95 weeks set by Lifehouse's "You and Me" in two weeks.

I did not know Icehouse did a song called "You and Me"! You mean Lifehouse.

It would be interesting to hear them both counting down the hits! I have a habit for missing these shows now though.

At least Ryan still mentions Casey Kasem and Don Bustany at the end of this week's show. Kris and Adam didn't, so I wondered if Casey was being written off completely. Luckily it doesn't seem so.

It's not just Kris and Adam. Most of Ryan's substitute hosts skip the credits, including the shout-outs to USA Today's mid-week Mediabase charts and Ryan's website, as well as to Casey and Don.
