WMGF doesn't appear to be running the show this week. After the top of the hour station ID at 6:00 EST, they continued with regular programming.

WLIF B-more is doing the Top 60 Xmas classics part 1 also. I just finished recording a large section of the show that *I* was missing, 42-38, however its raining an it wasnt coming in real good so I'll probably re-record it again next year hopefully. I scanned thru my copy last night to see what was missing. I was also missing the beginning of part II but I guess last year I taped most of what I was missing from WLIF, I just need #30 so I'll be tuning in again next week.

FYI - WMGF has dropped Casey entirely. They have made an effort to drop all syndicated programs, which include Delilah, John Tesh (both the midday version and weekend version) and AT40: The 80s. There was a write up in the paper about it the other day.

Where can I find more info of those, apparently , four ( 4 ) non countdowns christmas show by Casey ( AT10). I could record 2 of them last week, but have no more info. Appart from the 2 parts of Top 60 of AT10.

Does anyone know if these shows will be rerun this year? I believe they were run on Lite 101.9 out of Baltimore last year (2010)?

I think it's time to update them. I don't mean bring him back in the studio. He wouldn't do it and I dont blame him. But changing up some songs in the middle of the music sets or even having Larry Morgan do the "extra" segments at the top of each hour and removing the ones Casey does would be good. I only say this so it keeps the holiday shows a little fresh. It's fine running retro countdowns not to change things but a holiday show I think needs to be tweaked every now and then. |

I'm under the assumption that a vast majority of the stations that carry "AT40-The 70's" & "At40-The 80's" will eventually flip to all Christmas music after Thanksgiving-WLIF in Baltimore which carries the 70's show every Sunday,will probably air the Christmas shows that Casey did a few years ago.

The discussions and all have pretty much moved there. However I may be able to help you out I just have to figure out how. I used to use AOL Instant Messenger to do this kind of thing but don't know if they still offer that feature and I don't sub to any file sharing services. |
