With the show ending, will they make the holiday shows available to stations airing At40 the 70's and 80's that flip to an all holiday music format again? I hope so. I inadvertently deleted them off my computer this year and it's a yearly tradition from Christmas Eve evening all through Christmas Day to run them continuously.

That's a distinct possibility-Hope it happens.

The only show I still have is the top60 countdown. Not quite complete, but mostly.

Normally, radio stations start playing Christmas music right after Thanksgiving-I wonder if Premiere will make the old "AT10" Christmas specials available to their affiliates, which carry both "AT40-The 70's" & "AT40-The 80's".

I have heard that the Premiere is going to offer well-known AT10 Christmas Top 60 Special with Casey Kasem to the stations this Christmas.

Is that all they would offer? So would that mean the same 2 shows running 2 or 3 times until Christmas? I guess that's not entirely out of the question. Before he recorded the 3-4 other Christmas music shows, didn't all Christmas format stations play the same Top 30 Christmas countdown all season long?

NO, I'm sure we'll hear some regular Xmas shows, followed by the top 60, probably w/ part I airing on Dec 11th.

It would be nice if they'd offer Casey's two 70s AT40 Xmas shows as part of that package as well; they would work nicely for stations, like Baltimore's WLIF, which play AT40/70s but go all-holiday for a month or more, and thus play many of the included songs.

What radio stations carry American Top 10 Christmas with Casey Kasem? What day and times can I listen to it on?

They're currently running the show from the week of November 28, 2005. Here is the list of that show, as originally run (as there were a few differences in the show I heard):
HOUR 1
Rockin Around the Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee Believe - Josh Groban Nuttin' For Christmas - Barry Gordon; Italian Children are visited by a witch named Strega Buffana. Good kids get presents, bad kids get coal. Ave Maria - Aaron Neville Joy to the World - Michael Bolton God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - Belinda Carlisle Let It Snow! - Frank Sinatra Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - Gene Autry; began in 1939 as a Christmas poem given free to children by Montgomery Ward in Chicago. Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - John Lennon and Yoko Ono Caroling, Caroling - Nat King Cole Santa Baby - Madonna Jingle Bells - Barry Manilow & Expose Feliz Navidad - Jose Feliciano; In Mexico, children leave their shoes out and form a parade singing and carrying poles with candles on their way to church. Do You Hear What I Hear? - Whitney Houston Run Rudolph Run - Bryan Adams Blue Christmas - Elvis Presley
HOUR 2
Peace On Earth / Little Drummer Boy - Bing Crosby & David Bowie We Need a Little Christmas - Percy Faith Orchestra Grown-Up Christmas List - Kelly Clarkson You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch - Thurl Ravenscroft; lyrics from Dr. Seuss whose 1st book (And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street) was inspired by the sound of a ship's engine. Last Christmas - Wham! White Christmas - Bing Crosby The Chipmunk Song - Alvin & the Chipmunks Please Come Home for Christmas - Eagles Little Saint Nick - Beach Boys; In Austria, Christ Child brings presents and tree. Children must wait until they hear the bell before viewing the decorated tree. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas - Johnny Mathis Christmas Time Is Here - Vince Guaraldi Trio Winter Wonderland - Kenny G Home For The Holidays - Carpenters; In Ukraine, Father Frost's sleigh is pulled by only 3 reindeer. Snowflake Girls is his sidekick. Christmas Time - Backstreet Boys A Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives The First Noel - Karla Bonoff
HOUR 3
Gabriel's Message - Sting O Holy Night - Celine Dion Jingle Bell Rock - Hall & Oates Hark! The Herald Angels Sing - Amy Grant I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus - John Cougar Mellencamp Someday At Christmas - Stevie Wonder This Christmas (Hang All the Mistletoe) - Macy Gray Christmas Canon - Trans-Siberian Orchestra Frosty The Snowman - Jackson 5 O Tannenbaum - Vince Guaraldi Trio The Night Before Christmas - Carly Simon Sleigh Ride - Air Supply Mary's Boy Child - Harry Belafonte Silent Night - Stevie Nicks; British and German soldiers briefly stopped their battle on Christmas eve during WWI to sing "Silent Night".
As I said at the beginning of this post, there were several differences between the original show and the one they played. Hour 1 was left as is.
For the second to last segment of Hour 2, they played a different set of songs. Here is an excerpt of that segment:
Christmas Time Is Here - Vince Guaraldi Trio Winter Wonderland - Kenny G Home For The Holidays - Carpenters; In Ukraine, Father Frost's sleigh is pulled by only 3 reindeer. Snowflake Girls is his sidekick. Christmas Time - Backstreet Boys
Casey told the part about Christmas in Ukraine, but the songs they played were:
Celebrate Me Home - Kenny Loggins O Come All Ye Faithful - Lionel Richie Winter Wonderland - James Taylor River - Sarah McLachlan
The first song in Hour 3 was "(There's No Place Like) Home For The Holidays" by Perry Como instead of "Gabriel's Message" by Sting. Plus, the Stevie Wonder and John Cougar Mellencamp songs were flip-flopped, but that could have been an error on the part of the original poster of this list, which I got from a different message board. "O Tanenbaum" by Vince Guaraldi Trio was replaced by "Baby It's Cold Outside" by Rod Stewart & Dolly Parton, marking the second time in the show that the Vince Guaraldi Trio was snubbed.

Before he recorded the 3-4 other Christmas music shows, didn't all Christmas format stations play the same Top 30 Christmas countdown all season long? I know that WLIT in Chicago did. It was getting kind of old, too, so I generally just listened to the show the first week they ran it (in 2002 and 2003) and that was it. Thankfully, in 2004, he made all-new Christmas shows.
