Right now I'm listening a lot to Radio Bop, which plays practically every top-100 song from 1955 through 1965: pop, rock'n'roll, r&b, MOR, country, and rockabilly. They also play a lot of non-charting singles and quite a few B-sides and album tracks. radiobop.com/ The site's sound is pretty bad but they give you the option of four other media players. May I suggest Windows Media Player? And perhaps a nice merlot to go with it.

I am not a huge Rick Dees fan however: Another site that deserves to be brought up is www.rick.com. Rick Dee’s Weekly Top 40 website allows you to listen to past and current shows plus has a few different music channels to stream thru. This site was brought up quite a few times. I checked it out and will tune again.

Rick Dee’s Weekly Top 40 website allows you to listen to past and current shows plus has a few different music channels to stream thru. This site was brought up quite a few times. I checked it out and will tune again. I was able to listen to them last summer, but lately, I haven't been able to get the players to work, and I don't usually have trouble with webstreaming. I emailed the show but have yet to get any response from their tech support guys. Any tips?

Mike: I am noT sure about Rick.com's past problems, but it appears to be working now. Checkout www.grooveshark.com. Just type up what you're looking for and there's a very good chance you'll find it

While I think it's great that Rick Dees offers old shows on his website, the list has not been updated in months. Initially, he was adding 3-5 of the classic shows per week.

RadioSure is not a website, but instead it is an application. The actual content is usually a radio station's stream, though they have some webradio listed. Currently, there are over 12,000 stations in the application window from numerous countries covering multiple genre. Program is useful because it consolidates all these streams into one window. It is also possible to record the stream, although the results may not be great because of where RadioSure cuts the individual mp3's. Of course, the program depends on accurate link within the application as well as the broadcaster's stream working at the moment. www.radiosure.com/

This is more for us beatlemaniacs but how about www.beatlesradioshow.com This is a weekly tradition called breakfast with the beatles hosted by the amazing dennis mitchell. It is syndicated around the globe on various radio stations and you can also stream the hour long love fest for the beatles right on that web site.In a word awesome Also there is www.maccaradio.com All beatle related music 24-7. For you 70’s fans, like myself, there is: 105.7 WROR www.wrornothinbutthe70s.com/ Their home page states: WROR is harnessing the power of HD Radio, providing you the highest fidelity ever available and even more choices. "Nothin' But The 70's is a celebration of the music and pop culture of the 1970's. Whether it's Rock, Soul, Disco, Top 40 Hits, or B-sides, if it was made in the 70's, you'll hear it here. Featuring a lot of songs you haven't heard in a long time, it will bring back memories. And, of course, it's free. Here we are, boys and girls: an AM radio station that still plays mid-1950s through early '70s and has a 7000-song library: "Krazy Q" KZQZ, 1430 in St. Louis. And you can hear the station courtesy of this new-fangled invention known as "the Internet." kzqz1430am.com Another good mid-'50s-through-early-'70s AM station is WMTR in Morristown, NJ: www.wmtram.com/Default.aspxA new station to check out WGVU AM 1480 in Grand Rapids, MI. The first NPR station in the country to go oldies. They say they have 5,000 songs, and want people to hear songs they haven't heard in 40 years. www.publicbroadcasting.net/wgvu/ppr/index.shtmlHere is a great 70s alternative to XM: www.1.fm/Station/70s/Default.aspx They have the deepest playlist that I have found yet - for example, they played a version of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" done by John Travolta and the Captain and Tennille. The performance was from the old Captain and Tennille tv show. Admittedly it sucked but it was fun to hear a blast from the past like that. They have an 80s station that goes very deep as well. Here is a station that just plays "lost hits" KCIX Lost Hits: An awesome collection of great music that isn't played anymore, and some of today's songs that aren't played enough! www.live365.com/stations/kcixdisco1Here’s is a show that I haven’t heard on radio for a while. Think it’s on at 6:00AM on Sundays where I live LOL. You can listen to both the 80’s and 90’s versions of these shows. Click “Listen Here” on the home page and you are set. BackTrax USA with Kid Kelly: "We've got everything you need to relive the era when greed was good, hair was big and lipsynching could win you a Grammy. We're always adding more stuff, so be sure and drop in often or you might miss something." www.backtrax.com/index.html

I'm glad to see WLNG on this list-They play a lot of songs you don't hear anymore like "Dominique" by The Singing Nun,"Volare" by Domenico Modugno & "Ringo" by Lorne Greene-Their claim that they have 10,000 oldies is not an exaggeration-LNG is located in Sag Harbor,NY,which is on the eastern end of Long Island-For those posters who live in that area, their frequency is 92.1 FM-For those of you live in other parts of the country,go to www.wlng.com & you can hear a live stream 24/7.

I haven't listened to WLNG in ages but I love that station and the variety they have. The only downside is that they play a lot of commercials during the day; they would play a song and then have five minutes of commercials. I'm assuming that that's only on the online version of the station.

I will post again Barry Scott’s fantastic Lost 45’s show: www.lost45s.com/index.phpBarry posts a weekly online show, but you have to be on his e-mail list to listen to it. You can register, for free on his site. This week only (09/24/09-10/1/09), he is posting a two-part show, which consist of the top 100 lost 45’s. Here is the site that lists the songs lost45.com/top1002009.phpHe also has a current on-line show in which he is playing my song request (Eric Carmen’s “Change of Heart”). This is a second song on the show. The site updates regularly so don’t miss out.
