Thank you for your great work through the 39 years Casey. You will be missed. Thankfully we all can listen to the reruns of the 70s and 80s AT40-shows. Anyone who stays 39 years with the same work must truly love it.

Thanks Casey and all your staff for all the special touches you put into each and every show that makes it so interesting to listen to every week.
To me Casey Kasem will always be synonymous with American Top 40. Listening to him over the years made him feel like a personal friend of mine, even though I have never met him or talked to him. He is a radio icon that can never be replaced. The show never sounded right without him whenever someone else hosted the show.
