Koko Taylor,who was known as the Queen Of The Blues,died Wednesday in Chicago at the age of 80-She recently had surgery for gastrointestinal bleeding-During a career that spanned over 50 years,she sang with artists such as BB King,Muddy Waters,Howlin'Wolf & Buddy Guy-With the assistance of Willie Dixon,Koko got a recording contract with the legendary Chess Records-Koko's most successful hit was her 1966 smash "Wang Dang Doodle"-Taylor,who was born Cora Walton,was nicknamed Koko because of her love for chocolate.
