This week's AT40 show on 70s on 7 is May 20, 1972. This show will be rebroadcast Sunday morning at 8am Central time and again at 11 pm Sunday night.

June 6, 2009 - Sirius XM 70s on 7 is playing AT40 from 6/4/1977 On the up side, this is one I don't believe SXM has ever played before, unlike the one they ran last week, and has quite a few memorable songs. On the down side, the end-of-hour sequences have been cut out completely!!! In the past, SXM has at least let them play out to the end of Casey's announcements, but doing away with them completely!! AAKKK!! What next??? Will they start hacking off the openings and closings completely, leaving us with just the Top-40??? I fear this could be the beginning of the end of Classic AT40 on SXM. |

Last week's 5/25/85 show, which included the Beatles' "Help!" as a Long Distance Dedication, included the song but not the letter, at least as I heard it (maybe this will be corrected on rebroadcast tomorrow.) |
