CHOPPING OF THE NUMBER ONE SONG ON THE XM 80'S...... There are several people who have written about the mistakes and butchering of AT40, including our own Rob Durkee, and nothing has happened. The only thing that concerns Sirius XM as far as AT40 is that it is a money maker and the Music Program boss there, Jon Zellner, claims that most people don't care anything about missing jingles.
As far as omitting the #1 song, that's another problem-I am assuming that they are not so stupid as to deliberately remove #1, which is the climax of the entire show (This would have the effect of ruining the show)-someone probably set things on automatic to cut the show off at an exact time so that the prerecorded DJ could come on at an exact time. In any case, I'd suggest that you email Zellner at jon.zellner@xmradio.com and complain. When he responds, please post it here for all of us to see.

TO ALL, CASEYFAN SUGGESTED THAT I EMAIL JOHN ZELLNER, SO I DID...IN SHORT, HE RESPONDED AND ALMOST IMEDIATELY I MIGHT ADD, AND HAD SAID THAT HE WILL LOOK INTO IT AND TRY TO PREVENT IT........THEY SEEMED TO HAVE HAD A PROGRAMMING PROBLEM....FOR WHAT ITS WORTH, WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE.................................later bcody
