Anyone remember the LDD back in the mid-'80s from the teacher who was a big fan of Olivia Newton-John? The highlight of this LDD was how he posted an Olivia Newton-John poster in his classroom, and someone defaced it by drawing a mustache and beard on it. He was so heartbroken over the poster being ruined that he held a private burning of it (kind of like what they do with flags when they get worn out).
I think the LDD was to a student who presented him with a new Olivia poster. It's been 20 years since I've heard it though, so I don't remember for sure.

The show that aired this dedication was June 9, 1984. I remembered this LDD only because it's the only show I can think of that used the same act (in this case, Olivia Newton-John) for both LDD songs.
One of the funniest LDDs I remembered was from the March 7, 1981 show, where a woman dedicated a song to "the boy who gave me a black eye".
